Email Delegation Invitation Never Received

Email delegation has been set up, and the note says, "The person you added will get an email asking them to confirm. The invitation expires after a week." However, the invitation has yet to be received, and it has been two business days. What steps should be taken to fix this?

Hi Jordan,

Using GAM you don't need to wait for the user to accept the email (no email is sent) so gam user <shared email address> delegate to <user email address> will give the delegate access you need to set up. I am not sure how this will work if the email has been sent and not accepted. So you may need to delete them first using gam user <shared email address> delete delegate <user email address>.

If you are not going to use GAM then you may want to search for the message in the Admin Console https://admin.google.com/ac/emaillogsearch to find what has happened to it.
