GAMADV-XTD3: Calendar for Recurring Events

I'm running GAMADV-XTD3 6.04.06

I have a recurring Wednesday calendar event for HR from 2-3pm PT where they meet as a group with all new hires for that week. 

I want to add a new hire to the following Wednesday's calendar event, and not to all of the recurring events. 

I have the start of the problem: 

gam calendar <CalendarEntity> update event id <xxxxxxx> attendee first.last

But I need to specify just that one date (e.g., 30 June 2021). 

I tried this, but it failed:

gam calendar <CalendarEntity> update event id xxxxxxx attendee first.last start start 2021-06-30T14:00:00-07:00 end 2021-06-30T15:00:00-07:00

Error: 
Update Failed: Does not exist

You want the ID of the specific event.

gam calendar <CalendarEntity> update event id xxxxxxx_YYYYMMDDTHHMMSSZ attendee first.last

For posterity, here is the command that Ross helped me with to add someone to one instance of a recurring calendar event. 

gam calendar <CalendarEntity> update event id eventID_20210630T210000Z attendee first.last

Thanks for sharing this! A tiny thought: the Wikis for both GAM and Advanced GAM are editable—maybe someplace in there would be a better place to record for posterity?
