I'm wondering if there's a way to use an existing service account during setup, or even to specify a new name for one or something.

I'm trying to setup using gam use project into a pre-existing project. That works fine, but when it tries to make a service account I get the following

Project: gam-project- Service Account: gam-project-, Enable Failed: Service account gam-project- already exists within project projects/gam-project-

I'm trying to setup a project for our team to share. Would the service account it's trying to create be different for different users, or is it going to fail for everyone?

I have the same question. I'm trying to follow the docs to use an existing project, which we'd done with regular GAM before the merge. Though I will note, I set up the project and use GAM the most out of the team, so it's possible the people who are using the same project are getting a warning about the Service Account and just haven't told me, or never ran commands where it was needed.

Trying to follow https://github.com/GAM-team/GAM/wiki/Authorization#advanced-1 which says to specify the Service Account name, I guess it actually expects you to specify a name for a new service account, not the existing one? What happens if you're missing the service account creds in your config?

I found that you need to delete the existing service account for this workflow to complete successfully.

Hi Ross,

I'm running into the same issue as the original poster. Can you assist?
