to GAM for Google Workspace

Hi all,

I’m facing a strange problem when using GAM to create or delete multiple users from a CSV.
The command starts fine and processes most users, but then it gets stuck forever with this message:

2025-08-09T10:05:14.661+00:00,0/40,Using 5 processes...
User: eliza33@domain, Deleted
...
2025-08-09T10:05:38.721+00:00,0/40,Waiting for 2 running processes to finish before terminating, wait limit unlimited seconds
2025-08-09T10:06:58.731+00:00,0/40,Waiting for 1 running process to finish before terminating, wait limit unlimited seconds

It never finishes, so I have to stop it manually.
I’m wondering:

  • Could this be caused by Google Workspace rate limiting?

  • Is there something wrong with my account setup?

  • Has anyone else experienced this recently?

Any tips or confirmation from others would be really helpful.

Thanks!

I have the same, but i think it has to do with number of API calls.
Mine is running over 240.000 documents.

This happens when one of the multiple processes that you've triggered with the "multiprocess" option gets stuck/fails for some reason. See the thread at https://groups.google.com/g/google-apps-manager/c/bivKGdgK2wI/m/7_DT4jpLCwAJ for more details and a way to change the "unlimited seconds" bit.

Cheers,

Ian
