Auditing activity question

I am trying to see if I can get audit activity from a certain time frame, so far have only been able to get the previous 30 days.

I've been putting in gam audit activity request user.name begin "2013-11-01" end "2013-11-30"

Seems to always put out the previous 30 days ... either I am doing something wrong - or it is not able to do this.

Is there a way to request auditing info on a user account before 30 days?

Anyone have some input here??? Many thanks!

The old audit activity only does 30 days, there's no way to change that. The newer login audit gives much more up to date data. Try:

gam report logins user <user email>

to get logs that go back up to 6 months.

Actually - another quick question if you can answer Jay - how far back can you audit an account from? I am trying to get that answer from Google, but so far no luck. The GAM tool goes back 6 months? Since user creation? Are there any Google built in tools that do this also? (I just turned on the Google Docs Audit feature a couple weeks ago.)
