Add Google Group Aliases to Users so they can Send As

Hi there folks! 

So I have a collaborative inbox set up for the google group: a...@domain.com, with the google group alias: al...@domain.com. This group has 6 users in it, and they want to be able to send messages from the group email (which is set up through groups.google.com already) but they also want to send emails from the alias of this google group (al...@domain.com). 

So I sent them instructions on how to add the alias through the "send mail as" portion in their gmail settings, but was just curious if there was a way from GAM to add the alias to the send mail as portion so it could be done for them?
