Reminder for regular events (those with start and end *times*) are trivial. Notifications for new events, changes, and cancellations, are also easy. What I can't figure out how is to set notifications for the special category of "allday" events.

Here is the BNF for event dates/times: (start allday <Date>)|(start <Time>)|(end allday <Date>)|(end <Time>)|(timezone <Timezone>)

Perhaps I wasn't clear about the fact that I'm trying to change the default settings of the calendar as they apply to an entire group. Here's what I ran to set 10-minute-before email reminders for all events in the calendar.

gam group compa...@example.com update calendar 1234...@group.calendar.google.com reminder email 10

I'm going to make up the command I *want* to run that would set the analogous default setting for "all-day" events:

gam group compa...@example.com update calendar 1234...@group.calendar.google.com reminderalldayevents email 10

Apologies but I don't see how your response applies to my question at all - maybe I'm just dense and I need to see an example? Would you mind?

Dustin,

I misunderstood your request.

The Calendar API (https://developers.google.com/google-apps/calendar/v3/reference/calendarList#resource) does not expose the settings for All-day event notifications, thus GAM can't help you. You'll have to ask Google to update the API to support this setting.
