Cannot move or take ownership of a user file

Hello, I am attempting to move or take ownership of a file which is saved into a user's mydrive.

Attempted:

gam user mike move drivefile xxxxxx parentid zzzzzz

output:

User: mike, Move 1 Drive File/Folder
User: mike, Drive File Not Moved: parentid: zzzzzz, Does not exist

Or

gam user mike  update drivefileacl zzzzzz admin role owner   

Output:

User: mike, Update 1 Drive File/Folder ACL
  User: mike, Drive File/Folder ID: zzzzzzz, Permission ID: a-number-here, Does not exist

Both file and folder do exist, I can open both from the UI

I don't think you can use "update drivefileacl" since the user you want to update is not already part of that file's permissions.  If you want another user to become the owner, you have to use "gam user user add drivefileacl fileid user newowner role owner".
