Hi Ross,

I know you can send emails with gam and use gDocs in Plain text mode as a template which is really awesome!!

I wish there was a way to include at least some basic formatting such as bold, underline, italics, possibly emojis 😀 etc.

I don't know how the API works but perhaps it is possible to convert the document internally into an HTML somehow and use this? (please forgive me if this makes no technical sense)

Or is there another workaround of having the ease of use of a google docs combined with the endless possibilities of an HTML file, which are sometimes tough to handle.

Cheers, Markus

Markus;

Use HTML.  You will need to tell gam that the template is in html format.

wow, I can't believe it's that easy! 🤯 I wasn't aware you could actually use html code straight from gdocs

I think I can work with that. Admittedly it would be super convenient if gam could handle the rich text --> html conversion, but that is just wishful thinking xD

Cheers, Markus

when I recently revisited this I found the option 'ghtml' does exactly what I want 😍

I don't know if this is new or not, but this is totally awesome!!!!
