Mailbox Delegation to a Group no longer working via GAM 7

Hi All,

Seeing an issue currently with mailbox delegation to a group.

When running the following command:

gam user testmailbox add delegate testmailbo...@domain.com

The error being reported is:

Add Failed: Group delegation is disabled

This has only started happening in the last few weeks.

I upgraded to GAM 7.18.03 and still getting the same error.

- Mailbox delegation to a group has been enabled since the feature was released

- I have run this command on average once/twice a week since feature release without a problem

- Mailbox delegation to a group works successfully via the web browser if I was to sign in as 'testmailbox' and delegate to the group 'testmailbo...@domain.com'

Is anyone else seeing a similar error when delegating a mailbox to a group using GAM 7?

I am having the same issue, cant delegate to a group any more, worked previous to upgrade.

R you guys sure that delegation for groups is enabled on Admin portal?

It looks like some automated process must run on any new account before the delegation features are available. Yesterday the account would not delegate to a group. This morning, it works. No changes made.

I know that the mailbox can take some minutes (until 5 minutes um large environment) to be built, but I never seen something longer than this, strange :/

How many people are in the group? It's been a bug for years that you can not delegate an account to more than 10 people until the account is 24 hours old. If done manually it will fail on either 10 or 11 I can't remember.

Less than 10 people are in the group. Ill add, gam delegation to users worked immediately on that same box, just group delegation was broken.
