Hi,

I have a question about what happens to a nested folder structure in "My Drive" (not a Shared Drive) when a user in the middle of the folder chain is deleted.

For example, We have a team collaboration folder where the structure looks like this and if transfer ownership of owner of folder7 to SA user, will the folder structure remain or does folder8/folder9 becomes orphan?

Thank you

. └── SA/ └── SA/ ├── folder2/ │ ├── folder3 │ └── folder4 └── folder6/ └── folder5/ ├── folder4 └── folder7/ └── folder8/ └── folder9

When yu change the owner of a folder, you choose whether to relocate the folder to the now owner's root or leave it it place.
If you chooese to relocate it, everything below it moves with it
