Hi,
Looking at how to identify Guest members inside Shared Drive folders and files.
Is this possible with user drive permissions query/filter or only "manually" by querying if a   user has files in the Shared Drive and comparing with membership?

Regards
Hans

I’m pretty sure there was a thread or two about this on this list within the past 2-3 months. You might have a peek at the archives, linked at the bottom of every message here…

Hope that helps!

Hans,

The ACLs don't indicate anything about guest members.
It seems to me that you'd have to get the ACLs on the drive itself and then on the individual files and then do comparisons in a script.

Hi,
I pulled all ACLs for a Shared Drive and then filter on "permissions.X.permissionDetails.0.permissionType" = 'file'; works well enough.
Will check out the script also, thanks Ross.

Hans,

Very interesting. The script compares the Team Drive file ACLs with the top level Team Drive ACLs and displays a row per file per guest member.
