Hi Team,

Greetings.

We are facing one issue for GAM tool Authorization.

We have created new project in the developer console, created needful json files and downloaded updated GAM tool.

When we run "gam oauth create" command to authorize GAM, we get all the 28 options and we enter 28 to 'continue' however it is not redirecting to the authorization page to allow GAM tool and asking us to add new command without any action on previous command.

Kindly let us know what could be the possible issue and how to resolve it at earliest.

Regards,
Nikunj

Hi,

I'm having a similar issue. Could anyone provide any insight toward this? I've followed the wiki to create the oauth2 files and when running either gam info user or gam oauth create, I get redirected to the browser and when I click Allow, I simply get a The localhost page isn't working message and nothing happens. GAM just sits there and hangs. Any assistance with this is greatly appreciated!

Hello again,

Disregard my question. After searching through the forum, I found that my issue was related to having the Cisco Anyconnect VPN client installed on my Mac which redirected port 8080.

I'm having the same problem. I created a project as specified in the documentation (twice), I authorized the API codes, but when I run CMD and select '28' to continue I get the same message.

Please help ;(

All,

This should help, you're having multiple issues.
If you have an existing oauth2.txt file, delete it.
In the same folder as gam.exe/gam.py, create an empty file named nobrowser.txt
Do: gam oauth create
All scopes can't be selected, you must unselect at least 1, 17 Site Verification API is a good choice
Continue
You will be given a link, go there logged on as your site administrator, click Accept
Copy the code from the browser
Paste the code after the "Enter verification code:" prompt
Delete nobrowser.txt

You should be good to go,

Ross

I know this is an old post but I'm having a similar issue but in my case it's saying "Cannot access /home/user.name/bin/gam/oauth2.txt: No such file or directory. Any ideas on how to proceed to fix this?

Thanks in advance

Claude
