Drive file or shared drive information by ID

Hello,

I am always struggling getting information about a file, folder or shared drive by ID. User just send links without knowing where a file or folder is saved asking for access. Now I am the one who needs to find out where this file is actually saved.

So I am starting with "gam all users show fileinfo <ID>"

And at some point it shows up something like "teamDriveId: <ID>"

Now I want to know more about the shared drive.

Is there a way to get info more targeted in one command where I can see the owner, name , path and maybe some more sharing permission information as well?

Using Report API

gam show ownership $id 

Would show the information provided the file was accessed in past 180 days. 

Otherwise what you did is correct using Drive API
