How to sync chat spaces

Hi, I'm trying to sync chat spaces. I have several groups i want to sync several chat spaces. The update only adds, doesn't remove. 

So far the only option from the documentation I see is to delete all chat members of all chat spaces i want to sync, and then update said chat spaces the way i'm already updating.

Is there any other option?

This solution of deleting all members is especially annoying because it will spam the chat with "X member added Y member (through GAM)"

This is modelled after group syncing

gam <UserTypeEntity> sync chatmember <ChatSpace>
       [type human|bot] [role member|manager]                                                                                                                                                                           
       [addonly|removeonly]                                                                                                                                                                                     
       [preview] [actioncsv]                                                                                                                                                                              
       (members <UserTypeEntity>)(addresses <EmailAddressList>)                                                                                                                                                           

type will default to human
role will default to member
both add and remove are the default
preview and action csv default to off

Just used sync chatmember. So good. Thanks for implementing this.
