I love GAM and will be continuing to use it, but I've set it up a few different times. There is a lot going on during setup with authenticating and service accounts.

At this point, I'd like to completely remove every trace of every installation of GAM and start over with a more security driven approach to permissions and scope of access.

Is there a resource available with instructions on uninstalling GAM?

On the GAM wiki, about halfway down the page, there are 3 or 4 sections on uninstalling GAM. It depends on how it was installed.

Jim,

There are two principal areas: Admin console and Cloud console:
Hover over a line with GAM in the name and click delete at the end of the line

Click the three dots at the end of any GAM project line and click Delete
Copy  the project ID into the Project ID * box and click SHUT DOWN
The project will be shutdown and deleted in ten days.

This line, "Copy  the project ID into the Project ID * box and click SHUT DOWN" didn't make any sense until I actually tried deleting one...I was scratching my head looking for the place to put in the "Project ID *" box. Lol. It pops up when you actually click delete!

I had to figure out how to get the ability to delete a project. When logging in with my super admin account and clicking on a project, the "MOVE" and "DELETE" light up quickly and then gray out.
From there, I have to follow these steps:
1. Click on project resource
2. SHOW INFO PANEL
3. PERMISSIONS -> ADD PRINCIPAL
4. Add super admin account and select a role -> Owner

After that, the "MOVE" and "DELETE" buttons are blue and ready to go. When setting up GAM, I set up special accounts separately from my main super admin account...so those accounts had ownership. Luckily I was able to add ownership to a principal and delete ;)

When deleting a project like this, does the service account associated get removed as well? https://console.cloud.google.com/iam-admin/serviceaccounts
I would imagine so, but I just want to be certain not to leave things dangling around ;)
