Hi ,
Is this project still in the works?
When ever I try and run the following command: apt install curl python execstack xz-utils
all the packages fail with a 404 not found error ...

Good morning,
What project are you referring to?  If all you need is to run GAM via Chrome, then you can most likely do it from the Google Cloud Shell with a regular GAM install.

Kevin,

That would make an excellent wiki entry... :-)

Ohhhh, I'm sooo using that URL in the future, Kevin!
Takes me to a full size terminal window immediately. Love it!

Do this first...
apt-get update
apt-get install apt-utils
apt-get install dialog
apt update
apt upgrade
I think that will at least solve the 404 problem...
I still couldn't get it to work right...after that though...

This should be the recommended installation approach, IMO!

Took me a few minutes to find another thread with you and KimNilsson about MOVING GAM and used that info to take my JSON/oauth2.txt files from my previous Windows install and upload them to the cloud console.

Presto! Working web-based GAM from a chromebook (AND anywhere else, of course).

Many thanks!

haha, yes!
GAM in a Google cloud shell is awesome, and free!

Only if you need to schedule commands do you have to pay to keep your shell running 24/7/365. It's quite cheap though.
