Transfer Drive Ownership - Remove share permissions for subfolders

I understand that the following line will transfer employee1's drive to employee2.
gam empl...@example.com transfer drive empl...@example.com

Is there a way to remove sharing for all items on employee1's drive? retainrole none is by default and seems to only affect the previous owner.

Example:

Before Transfer
-Employee 1 My Drive - Owned by Employee 1
-Folder 1
-File 1 - also shared with Employee 3

After Transfer
-Employee 1 My Drive - Owned by Employee 2
-Folder 1
-File 1 - no longer shared with Employee 3 after transfer
