I'm looking to use GAM to bulk edit all of our company's Google Docs so that users from other companies and organizations who currently have access to them will have their access removed. These users all share the same domain in their email addresses. F.ex, we are "domain1.com" and they are "domain2.com". Can I use GAM to remove all domain2.com users from accessing domain1.com Docs?

Steve,

Not easily. How many domain1.com users are there and how many domain2.com users are there?

Use the Google Apps for Work Admin Console settings for Drive Sharing to revoke sharing for all outside domains.  Simple

Unfortunately it's not that simple, as there may be some domains we do want to continue allowing access to our files. We only want to remove a specific group of users from accessing the files.

Hi Ross,
There are approximately 75 domain1.com users and 30 domain2.com users.

You can use the same settings and just whitelist the approved domains you want to continue to allow to have sharing access in the Admin Console.

Would like to know if this is possible as well.... Mainly we would like the ability to remove/revoke only External sharing for an individual drive contents once he/she is terminated.

Me too!

I'd like to be able to control or at least report on permissions outside our domain, preferably by folder. I've been asked to ban external users from a particular folder which has over 140,000 files in 1200 sub folders.  I'd like to change all "everyone with a link" to "everyone in the organisation with a link" as well as control (or report on) specific permissions outside our domain.  I can do this on files by owner, but not by folder.
