Change Data Studio Asset ownership

Is there a GAM command that would allow us to change ownership of a Data Studio Asset? 
Is the data transfer method the only way of doing this?

Ricardo,

The API does not allow ownership changes, thus GAM can't help.

Out of curiosity, what does the API response return when trying to add Owner as the role? I was recently asked a very similar question.
