Hi all,

gam csv groupsupdate.csv gam update group “~Email” who_can_view_group all_members_can_view

My csv is:

Email

test@*domain*

test2@*domain*

test3@*domain*

test4@*domain*

test5@*domain*

I get 5x "ERROR: 400: Missing/Invalid attribute value: id - invalid" so one for each email

Any ideas as to why?

Thanks

Where you showed:

test@*domain

What are those? They need to be real email addresses that are existing Google groups.

They are real email addresses from existing Google groups. I didn't want to reveal the domain name.

Luke,

You have curly quotes around Email (“~Email”), they have to be straight quotes ("Email").

Hi,

Are the quotes around ~Email smart quotes?

Try

"~Email"

If you are using Google docs to write the command you can turn off what quotes in
Tools > Preferences > General

All the best

Piers
