I'm needing to remove the "Holiday in United States" calendar, built into Google Calendar, from every user. Long story short, Google lists December 24 as "Day off for Christmas," except in our industry it isn't and it's causing some amount of confusion.

I tried gam calendar us...@company.com delete calendar en.usa#hol...@group.v.calendar.google.com

Result is: Calendar: us...@company.com, Delete ACL: (Scope: user:cale...@company.com)

But nothing actually changes when the user loads the Calendar interface. I suspect this has do with this calendar being built into the platform.

We've asked users in the past to toggle off this calendar, but that hasn't prevented the confusion.

Is there any other way to bulk-disable/unsubscribe from this calendar?

Thanks!

I found a solution.

gam users us...@company.com add calendar en.usa#hol...@group.v.calendar.google.com selected false hidden true

Re-add it, but make it unselected and hidden.
