Marking all group messages as read within a certain timeframe

Is it possible to use GAM to mark all messages in a Google Group as read within a certain timeframe, e.g., everything older than 30 days?

Hi, 

I believe that there is no API control to delete a message from a group:

https://developers.google.com/admin-sdk/directory/reference/rest/v1/groups

Still, I tried to do the syntax to delete a message from a user but instead, I used a group:

gam group ~email trash message query sent:06/13/2022 doit 

but instead of looking at the group and the inbox, it looped over the group's member, so I am calling it a "No go" over deleting emails for a group's inbox
