Import Messages Into Google Group Archive?

Hello, does anyone know if an API exists to import messages into a Google Group archive? And if so, will GAM eventually support this? Thanks!

Yes, there's a Groups Migration API newly released.

No, GAM will not support migrations since it's a admin tool, not a migration tool.

However, there are other tools that support migration to a group and we've got plenty of experience at Dito with groups migrations. If you're looking for assistance doing a group migration, please contact in...@ditoweb.com.

Also, we've done migrations from Gmail mailboxes, Exchange public folders, Exchange users, PSTs, etc. Where is the data coming from for your migration?

Thanks, I’ve worked with the e-mail message migration API code so I might spend some time on this.

 

Data is coming from listserv software (lsoft.com)
