Export User Account Data (Drive and Email)

This might be an obvious question, but I'm wondering if GAM is able to export/import user Drive and Email data.

Our goal is to download a user's data so we can delete them from our Google Workspaces account but still have it available in some form later if we need.

GYB or RClone may be better suited for the job.

To some extent, downloading data using Vault (which you can use GAM/Vault API for) could work as well, especially if you want to download deleted, but retained data.

Thanks for the quick reply/advice.

Does GYB allow you to backup an account you have access to as an Workspaces Admin or would we be having to login to each account and running a backup in turn as it seems?

We've got a list of over 240 accounts we need to do this for so that would probably make using either of those solutions a bit of an issue.

Yes.

You would need to use --service-account flag.
