Hi,

I'm just getting started with GAM and I'd like a way to test commands
before /actually/ running them. I looked in GAM commands and I did see
one option named dryrun, but it seems like it only applies to
calendars.

Is there a global switch that will allow me to simulate commands before
trying them? Or do I need to create test user/OU/Device and do all my
testing on it first?

Thanks,
Jordan.

Jordan,

GAM reads your command arguments, converts them as required by the Google API and then calls the API.
If GAM doesn't call the API, you can't be sure that the command was correct.

Or do I need to create test user/OU/Device and do all my
testing on it first?

Yes.
