Yesterday I took a look at the Apps Audit API with GAM.

The mailbox export function is very interesting but I have a little question. It is possible to export the hole inbox in only one gpg or mbox file?
Actual I have 13 gpg files from *-0.mbox.gpg to *-13.mbox.gpg. If I encrypt the files I have 13 mbox files and all are working fine. But it would be very nice if it would only one big mbox file.

Is that possible?

thanks

Hi Steve,

No, it's not possible to specify the number or size of the files, Google determines the number based on the size of the export.

Are you using GAM on a *NIX box, or on Windows?  If you're using *NIX, you can just decrypt the mbox files then do something similar to "$ cat *-[0..31].mbox > whole_file.mbox" and get a single mbox file.
