Is it possible to have (1) Google Drive folder and tons of folders and files, be COPIED but retain original names and file structure? Basically I did a transfer of ownership from an terminated employee to my admin account since admins are only able to move items over to a shared drive in our org.

Problem is that this user has tons of files/folders spread out that are owned by an @gmail.com email which stops the entire move because our org doesn't own 100% of the files basically.
But legal needs to have this entire folder in the shared drive and i need to have it removed from my drive
I would of course need a list of the original drive folder and contents and the new folder and contents to show proof that the files are all there

Also...for the API/Oauth not to time out at some random point..that would be lovely

I only need some files so i did this:

gam user m...@domain.com print filelist todrive fields id,title, webviewlink, ownedbyme

When it comes to files like, when using gam show ownership i get Show Failed: Not Found, but they are not trashed and it shows the user being owner:

With files like, using gam show ownership - IT WORKS:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/FILEID/

Something wrong? I mean it exports showing that the owner is within the organization and its not trashed, clicking the webviewlinks work saying request access but when I do GAM it doesnt work..do docs.google , etc not work?

Hi Ross,

Do you have a moment to meet regarding some GAM questions I have regarding pulling shared Drive Data. Let me know if you need me to send over a meeting invite on this.
