Hi All,
By default Google sets recurring meetings to 365 occurrences. I know i can delete events that occurs after a certain date, but is there a way to change set the  "Custom recurrence" field to end on a certain date?

This is what I have tried:
gam calendar "c_188dfgn.....6@resource.calendar.google.com" Update event id "6l8......jvh" recurrence "RRULE:UNTIL=20220301T010101Z"

I get update failed, invalid recurrence rule.

Any help is appreciated

Tony,

I define the event in Google Calendar, then info/show the event to get the recurrence rule.

recurrence: RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;WKST=SU;UNTIL=20220519T065959Z;BYDAY=WE

So I have to include FREQ=, WKST=, and  BYDAY= even If I only want to update the "UNTIL" field? ok let me get that csv file ready because I have 100s of recurring meetings to end date.

Well now I get Updated 1 event but it does not update the event. When I reopen the calendar and refresh, the end date is still set to never
gam calendar "c_188dfg...@resource.calendar.google.com" Update event id "3f1en4...." recurrence "RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;UNTIL=20220228T055959Z;INTERVAL=1;BYDAY=WE"
