There have been a few incidents of accidental provisioning of ChromeOS devices due to how the search API works and GAM's bulk operations. Ross has fearlessly tackled these challenges and improved how GAM handles these deprovisioning scenarios but the fixes only help you if you're running the latest version of GAM!

Before making your summer / end of year ChromeOS fleet updates please be sure to upgrade to the latest version of GAM (7.46.02 as of this writing).
