So I thought I had uninstalled everything and cleared directories, but I am thinking not.

Easy install, got the Your GAM Project is created and ready to use, but then I get this error:

WARNING: Config File: C:\GAMConfig\gam.cfg, Section: DEFAULT, Item: oauth2_txt, Value: C:\GAMConfig\oauth2.txt, Not Found

ERROR: No Client Access allowed

When running the check serviceaccount

I watched my GAMConfig directory during the install.  Saw the oauth2.txt get created, but then immediately it renamed itself to oauth2.txt.lock, so guessing that is the issue.  Just do not know how to resolve.

Just a HUGE thanks to @Ross!  I appreciate your work so much and you support!

Third time I ran the command, it worked and all passed.  Just a little slow!  Like me!

Brad,

If you are upgrading from standard GAM your should do:
gam update project
gam oauth create
gam user us...@domain.com check serviceaccount`

Substitute valid email address for us...@domain.com
