I tried to update my GAM install today.  I ended up starting from scratch and I think everything goes ok up to the oauth create.  I am getting stuck on the gam oauth create, it give me this:
01.JPG

Anything I try and do after that says
the oauth2.txt not found
Error: no client access allowed.

My computer time is 14.5 seconds off of the time.is time.  I am on a school windows domain network.

That worked, I saw something similar to that command in another thread for the new GAM but didn't know it would work for this version!

I was testing some of my commands this morning and my device move command works but there are errors I can't figure out.  This is the command I run below just as I have always used it along with the errors when I run it now.  The devices move just fine though???

What I do is scan a bunch of device serial numbers on my bench using a bar code scanner into a csv, then move devices to the root OU using GAM and this command below.  From there I can bulk re-name, change Notes and location in the device objects using Gopher for Chrome.

C:\GAM>gam csv devicemove.csv gam update cros query "id:~~serialnumber~~" ou "/"

You have rows in your CSV file in no serial number

It runs fast.  I tried it with a few devices and then tried all kinds of stuff with just 1 device looking through what other people are doing.  This is a shot of the CSV attached.  I have never had any issues with this before.  I just wanted the devices no matter where they were located in our domain to move to the root of the domain.   This is exactly how I have run it for a year or longer.  It still works and moves the device or devices no matter where they are in our domain structure to the root but, it throws the errors now with this version of GAM.  I was only a couple verisons back when I updated and started over.

gam csv devicemove.csv gam update cros query "id:~~serialnumber~~" ou "/"

Shane,

You can keep  the extra column if you do the following:
gam config csv_input_row_drop_filter "serialnumber:regex:^$" csv devicemove.csv gam update cros query "id:~~serialnumber~~" ou "/"

config csv_input_row_drop_filter "serialnumber:regex:^$" - this says to drop any rows with an empty serialnumber/

Sounds great Ross.  I just put a little note by that command in my documentation about using numbers in the second column.  I use those numbers simply as the layout of how they are on my bench.  I can use Gopher for Chrome to put 01-10 or how ever many I have in the asset id or user of the device so I can then sort them in the Gopher for Chrome sheet so they are in order in the sheet to how they are laying on my bench in a line.  Then I can re-name, re-label or what ever I need to do and everything is correct when I am finished, names match labels etc...  I really appreciate the help as well.
