Adding a calendar with a custom colors

Good Afternoon,

I am trying to add a new calendar to all employees, but right now I am testing with a single person.  I am not able to add it with custom colors.

These commands work:

gam user XXXX add calendar XX...@group.calendar.google.com selected true 

gam user XXXX add calendar XX...@group.calendar.google.com selected true colorindex 3

These commands give the same error:

gam user XXXX add calendar XX...@group.calendar.google.com selected true foregroundcolor 7fdbd4

gam user XXXX add calendar XX...@group.calendar.google.com selected true backgroundcolor 23262e

gam user XXXX add calendar XX...@group.calendar.google.com selected true foregroundcolor 7fdbd4 backgroundcolor 23262e

Error:

Subscribing XX...@postmates.com to XX...@group.calendar.google.com calendar (1 of 1)

Error 400: Invalid value for: Invalid color value (must be of form '#hhhhhh') - invalid

This command (my original command) gives the generic "this is wrong" error:

gam user XXXX add calendar XX...@group.calendar.google.com selected true backgroundcolor #23262e foregroundcolor #7fdbd4

This has been true in both 3.45 and 3.61.

You should say: gam user XXXX add calendar XX...@group.calendar.google.com selected true backgroundcolor '#23262e' foregroundcolor '#000000'

You should put #012345 in quotes. As far as my experience goes, foregroundcolor has to be '#000000' (dark text) or '#FFFFFF' (light text).
