Hi all,

I'm probably losing it:

I did the following in gamadv in multiple permutations leading to an invalid argument error:

gamadv user <fromuser> copy drivefile id root to drive <touser> depth -1

I want to transfer everything, give them the same permissions as the original owner.

Thank you for the help,
Marisa

Transfer will keep the files from the origin drive?

No, my mistake, I misread your question.

You can't directly copy files from one user to another.
1: For the source user you can copy their My Drive files to a Shared Drive,
2: For the target user you then copy the Shared Drive files to their My Drive.

Send me a private Meet/Zoom invitation and I'll help with the details.

Ross
