I recently upgraded to GAMADV-XTD3, but I'm having trouble. I get 'Service not applicable/Does not exist' for many commands. I want to downgrade. I've tried just removing the folder GAMWork and GAMADV-XTD3 to the Trash but it didn't work.

I don't think downgrade is necessary or recommended depending on what commands you want to run.

If you are on Linux or macOS, make sure your $HOME/.gam directory contains oauth2service.json and client_secrets.json. If not, check in $HOME/bin/gam directory and copy those over.

If you are on Windows, GAMADV-XTD3 default config directory is C:\Users\Your_User\.gam

Once that's done you can run following commands
gam oauth create - this is to create oauth2.txt (your oauth token)
gam user none check serviceaccount - this is to ensure that your serviceaccount is authorized for domain wide delegation (https://admin.google.com/ac/owl/domainwidedelegation)

I have copied the .json files and ran the oauth command. But the return for 'gam user none check serviceaccount' is FAIL for all 34 scopes. I don't know how to fix it, so downgrading and starting over may be best. I don't want to create more API clients if they aren't necessary.

It's supposed to fail. Click on the link that you are provided and finish domain wide delegation. (It should take you to https://admin.google.com/ac/owl/domainwidedelegation)

Once that's done, provide an actual username instead of none, and everything should pass (provided user has a license/active/services enabled)

Thanks! That worked.
