WHO_CAN_VIEW_MEMBERSHIP_CANNOT_BE_BROADER_THAN_WHO_CAN_SEE_GROUP

Hello,

I want to pass this command to hide a group from the group directory:

gam update group ***groupname*** show_in_group_directory false

I keep getting this answer back:

ERROR: 400: Failed request validation in update settings: WHO_CAN_VIEW_MEMBERSHIP_CANNOT_BE_BROADER_THAN_WHO_CAN_SEE_GROUP - badRequest

This used to work, but not anymore.

My service account is fully authorized, all scopes passed.

What's the problem here?

It must be a recent change in policy, because I did this before and ik worked without this error.
