this is a bit off topic I realize but I end up troubleshooting this periodically so hoping someone who knows more then me might be able to help
Context: Office 365 is setup as a Web App > SAML > with AutoProvision
Its on for one group
its mapping username --> userPrincipalName
and
username --> onPremiseImmutableID
there rest don't seem relevant
A few days back someones name changed, so I updated it in Google
Nothing changed in Office 365
Removed user from the group ... waited 15 mins ... readded
User can't login to MS ... error of account doesn't exist
I manually changed the username in MS .. same error
Deleted the MS account (not hard delete since that requires powershell IIRC)

Account provisioning seems to happen at a random interval of 1 hour with minimal info in the admin logs
I've reached out to Google support and they haven't offered much in the way of assistance
Is there a way to force auto-provision via API?
