Gam command to archive user accounts

Hi there,

I am looking for a way to use Gam to archive and unarchive user accounts without changing their OU's or changing them to suspended etc or changing their license.

Is there such a command for this?

i haven't used this command in ages, tried it again today and it failed all day until i added the `d` to archived would love to alises available for both spellings.

Hi team!

Could you please help. 

I want to use bulk operation using csv file in purpose to assign this archive type of license to many users at once:  Google Workspace Enterprise Standard - Archived User 

The command works perfect: 

gam csv d:\list.csv gam update user ~names archived on 

Result = account status become Archived.

But the license type doesn't change and the archive license type doesn't assign "Google Workspace Enterprise Standard - Archived User" 

I resolved first part of this issue by revoking licenses with command: gam csv d:\list.csv gam user ~names delete license 1010020026 

But I cannot find a command to assign license type "Google Workspace Enterprise Standard - Archived User" . 

Maybe you have such command ?

Try this for users where you have already deleted the 1010020026 license

gam csv d:\list.csv gam user ~names add license 1010340004

Use this to update a user's license

gam csv d:\list.csv gam user ~names update license 1010340004 from 1010020026

Works fine.
Step 1:

gam csv d:\list.csv gam user ~names update license 1010340004 from 1010020026

and step 2:

gam csv d:\list.csv gam user ~names delete license 1010020026
