Remove a user from a teamdrive

Hi,

I have a user who accesses a shared drive and I would like to remove his role so that he can no longer access this shared drive but I can't find the GAM command to do this.

To add it, I used the command :

gam user aaaaaa.a...@domain.com add drivefileacl 1RFDSVRT567H user bbbbbb...@domain.com role reader

So to remove it, I foolishly tried the command below but of course it doesn't work:

gam user aaaaaa.a...@domain.com del drivefileacl 1RFDSVRT567H user  bbbbbb...@domain.com

I searched the GAM documentation and couldn't find it :-(

Any help would be appreciated.

This is what I used

gam delete drivefileacl teamdrive "Shared Drive name" us...@domain.com

 Or you can use the drive id.

Thank you both for your answers.

I tried the proposed command but I still get the same answer: ERROR: drivefileacl is not a valid argument for "gam delete".

I just saw that there are several versions of GAM, maybe it's related to that? On my computer, I use GAM Standard.

I installed GAMADV-XTD3 and tested the command, everything is ok now 🙂

I assumed GAMADV, for GAM standard see: https://github.com/GAM-team/GAM/wiki/Command-Reference:-Drive#gam-user-user-emaildelete-drivefileacl-file-id-permission-id-asadmin

So it would be:

gam user some...@somedomain.com delete drivefileacl <the file ID value> <the drivefile ACL ID value> asadmin

I tested it and it didn't work. I'm not sure if this command is for shared drives but the 1st command line you gave me is Ok.
