GAM/Cloud Shell no longer working

Hi there,

I have a question and looking for some assistance as to what I can do to get my GAM/Cloud Shell instance back and working.

It worked perfectly fine a few weeks ago, but now it will not allow me to run a basic command (Gam info user). On my desktop verion, I have attached a screenshot of the error I get. On Cloud Shell, I just get "-bash: gam: command not found"

I have removed the API's in the console and readded/reauthenticated the API's and this made no difference.

Can someone assist here?

That screenshot is Windows PowerShell, not Google Cloud Shell.

With PowerShell, you need to specify the location of executables if they're not in your path. Try:

.\gam.exe

Instead of just "gam". This is different than traditional MS-DOS / cmd where the shell looks for executables in your working directory.

This did not work either, still the same error. Also with the Cloud Shell in GCP it does not work.

The ./gam and .\gam examples only work if you are inside the directory where the gam binary is.

Do an ls or dir inside the directory to verify that the necessary files are in the directory, and screenshot both that and when you run the above commands.

Can anyone help me here?

I have reached out to Ross Scroggs via hangouts chat but no response. Ideally I would like a call with someone so we can sit and get GAM setup as I have tried to get it installed again but failing at the first step and I have no idea why, when I have ownership access to 2 GCP projects.

Brian, I have noticed that sometimes when you "send" a call request, you have to hit send or "Enter" twice to actually get it to send.
