Export GApps users directory data to LDIF

As the subject says, we'd like to export our GApps userspace (excluding passwords, of course) to a local OpenLDAP directory.

GAM will emit a CSV, but the fields are not sequenced for easy (e.g. using sed) translation to LDIF format.

Anyone have a translation tool for this, preferably in python?

did you ever make any progress with this?
id love to take my googleapps user and groups databases export it to ldif and import it toopen ldap and eventually setup the google apps sync with ldap so i can provission accounts automagically by adding a user to ldap and specifying as member of gapps service
