Convert uploads to Google DOCS editor format

Hi Everyone,

I am inquiring about the availability of an API that enables the activation of the “Convert uploads to Google DOCS editor format” setting for all users. This particular setting can be found under the Uploads section within Google Drive’s settings.

Despite extensive research, I have not been able to locate such an API. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide confirmation on whether an API exists for this purpose.

Ther is no API support for this settings.

Right, when uploading a file with the Drive API and GAM, you can decide to convert it or not but there is no API function to modify the user's setting for file conversion in the Drive UI.

The conversion is controlled by setting: mimetype gdoc
