ERROR: 500: Internal error encountered. - backendError while executing Mobile deletion GAM command

Hello,

We are receiving  following error while  executing the GAM command to delete the mobile devices - gam delete mobile <mobile id>

Temporary error: backendError, Backing off: 16 seconds, Retry: 4/10

Temporary error: backendError, Backing off: 32 seconds, Retry: 5/10

Temporary error: backendError, Backing off: 60 seconds, Retry: 6/10

Temporary error: backendError, Backing off: 60 seconds, Retry: 7/10

Temporary error: backendError, Backing off: 60 seconds, Retry: 8/10

Temporary error: backendError, Backing off: 60 seconds, Retry: 9/10

ERROR: 500: Internal error encountered. - backendError

We have updated the GAM to latest version and also executing the GAM command with different device id still same issue persist.

Jainam,

This is the normal (but not very helpful) Google API behavior when you supply an invalid <MobileID>

When you do gam print mobile, the <MobileID> is in the column labelled resourceId, not deviceId.
