You need to follow GAM's instructions *exactly* after you click allow if GAM is running on a different machine than your browser OR a local proxy/firewall is blocking your browser from talking to GAM then you'll need to copy the URL in the browser window and paste it into GAM.

Hi Jay and  Domenico,

I'm attempting to install a fresh GAM version 6.56 today, on a server that does not have GAM installed previously

I am running into this exact error message as well. Here are the replication steps as well as a picture of my error.
1. Run the MSI installer, add my admin email address
2. When the Chrome browser opens it does allow me to click "Allow"
2.5 The moment I click Allow, the GAM set up screen changes to this error message and does not allow me to paste the URL
3. Back in Chrome -instead of finishing the allow process, it does give me the 127.0.0.1 error "site can't be reached" and I do copy the URL
4. I return to the GAM setup screen but am not able to paste my URL message, because I have received this below error.

Happy to record this process as I'm able to replicate it each time I try - with this version of GAM.
Thank you!
