Gmail API: New endpoints for settings - Forwarding

Good afternoon.  I was just reviewing the article by Google at the following:

It states that you will be able to set up forwarding via API calls.  

I scrolled down a bit, and found the link to more information on the forwarding API

It says that if verification is required, the email is sent, and the status will be set to pending.  Is there a way to set this as active?

Also, is this set up in GAM yet?

We manage many members over here, and we would like to manage this forwarding without the need to the verification email.

Manipulate forwarding addresses:

gam <UserTypeEntity> add forwardingaddress <EmailAddress>

gam <UserTypeEntity> delete forwardingaddress <EmailAddress>

gam <UserTypeEntity> show forwardingaddresses

gam <UserTypeEntity> info forwardingaddress <EmailAddress>

gam <UserTypeEntity> print forwardingaddresses [todrive]


Manage forwarding:

gam <UserTypeEntity> forward <FalseValues>

gam <UserTypeEntity> forward <TrueValues> keep|leaveininbox|archive|delete|trash|markread <EmailAddress>

gam <UserTypeEntity> show forward

gam <UserTypeEntity> print forward [todrive]


You define a forwarding address for a user and then you enable it. Forwarding addresses within the domain are automatically accepted, others have to be confirmed.

Specific to Forwarding addresses. We are generating an 'unauthorized_client: Unauthorized client or scope in request." Error generates regardless of domain. 

Other GAM requests are working as expected. 

I was curious if anyone else is seeing this error.

Make sure you've upgrade to latest 4.03. then run:

gam user a_u...@example.com check serviceaccount

And follow the provided instructions.
