Hello,

I've just tried to install GAM on a remote server (Debian 8 GCE VM), everything went fine until I had to run gam oauth create. Of course, I don't have a browser on this server, and if I use the link provided on my local computer it redirect me on a localhost:8080 address which obviously don't work.

But when I run the command, this other message also pop :

If your browser is on a different machine then exit and re-run thisapplication with the command-line parameter --noauth_local_webserver

So I try gam oauth create --noauth_local_webserver, but it actually just put the same message with the localhost address.

Am I the only one with this issue ?

Create a file called nobrowser.txt in the same path as gam.py. This will tell GAM you don't have a local browser and to instead give you URLs that work on other workstations.

Gemechu,

On the remote server, in the same folder as gam.py, do: touch nobrowser.txt
When you do: gam oauth create
Copy the link to your local browser, accept the scopes, then copy the code back to the prompt on the remote server.
