Cannot add or invite student

Hi, I tried to find a solution for this in previous emails. I tried to add a student using GAM and got this error

Add Failed: Not Allowed

Then, I tried to invite. They were already invited, but not accepted. I removed them, then tried to add it again, but am unable to invite through the Google classroom website or add now through GAM.

Any advice?

Wanted to add that the student is able to be invited/added to other courses. Just this course is unable to add new students at this time. However, none of the limits are reached. (Less than 150 students, less than 50 teachers).

Hi, I think I did this, but must have gotten the times mixed up.

I'm unable to add any student to this classroom through GAM.

When I use an invitation link, I get an error message stating that there are too many teachers in the course when the invite link is for a student. I am unable to directly invite the student. There are less than 30 teachers. There are approximately 100 students. So, it is well within the parameters.

The student I want to add is new. The test student I have added has not been in lots of Google Classroom groups either. I am not able to add any students into the group. I have been able to add the new student to other courses. I have been able to add over 100 students to an empty blank course.

I'm at a loss other than to just create a brand new Google Classroom.
