Hi all,
Is it possible to also get more information about the traffic that
pass through the short URL service.
Like session info and maybe header info?
Running it though Google analytics AND combining it to the Google QR
code generator?
In GA it could tell how many of what kind of device (source) passed
through.
Anyone else wanting the same thing?
Best,
Naos

I want this too.
Jens - In the past you have said that there weren't plans to
incorporate the Goo.gl features into short links. It seems like more
people are asking about it, has this been reconsidered? Bit.ly
recently announced that they are offering their "pro" features for
free which allow for custom domains. I'm not looking forward to a
change but have been considering it for the statistics.

Hi,
Unfortunately, there are currently no plans to add such a feature to
short links. I understand that a migration to another shortlinker
might be some effort, but if you absolutely need this feature, it
might be an avenue worth evaluating. The good news is that short links
has an export feature that allows you to get to your link data easily.
You can activate it from your administrative settings.
Best regards,
Jens

I work for an organization that started to use heavily Google App short links. We use it often to show our customers/communities (> 10k) nice and tidy URLs that make more sense to them. And of course we want to assess the uptake of the info by analyzing the traffic using our associated Google Analytics account.
So, how's the status on this one? Still not in the plans? Cheers, N.

Hi,
Unfortunately, the answer to your question has not changed. If you need more advanced analytics, you might have to consider migrating to a different product :-(
