I'm wondering which countries are chrome book available,

Google search algorithm is very fast, I think they should optimize prize delivery algorithm now.

We are also in Sub Saharan Africa, based in Cape Town and not yet contacted since filling in form months back. Can anyone from the Apps Challenge give us feedback on what is happening?

Well the good news is that competition rules say the prize will have retail value of approx $400. So the longer we wait, the more chance of the latest and greatest Chromebook :-)

I guess I spoke too soon. I've just been contacted and told I will be receiving a Samsung NP N102 :-(

Not only was it a bottom end product when it came out, as far as I can tell it's no longer even sold.

It gives the impression Google are doing everything they can to cut corners with the prizes. Very disappointed.

UK. I think its the 3G one as well. It has a SIM slot and the mobile data option appears in the settings menu. Can't seem to get it working with my SIM though, not that I would use it anyway.
