I've been seeing a scroll-down survey box at the top of my admin console on EVERY freakin' page:

Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied are you with App Engine?

Over and over....Can you guess which button I'm clicking?

Enough!

This is a user satisfaction survey that we introduced in 1.6.6.  If you click on one of the options, we'll anonymously capture your response and the survey will not be displayed until sometime in the distant future.

You can chose to rate your experience low, but we hope that you'll provide honest feedback in regard to your overall experience with App Engine.  And along a similar vien, if you have direct feedback that you would like to provide -- either about App Engine or the survey itself -- feel free to email me directly at cram...@google.com.

Thanks,

I'm getting this too on every screen again. After selecting an honest option several times, I'm now inclined to choose an option more to the right...

This is the failing network call after selecting an option:
  1. Request URL:
  2. Request Method:
    POST
  3. Status Code:
    404 Not Found
  4. Request Payload
    1. xsrf-token=undefined
  5. Response Headersview source
    1. cache-control:
      no-cache
    2. content-length:
      0
    3. content-type:
      text/html; charset=utf-8
    4. date:
      Wed, 23 May 2012 12:10:57 GMT
    5. expires:
      Fri, 01 Jan 1990 00:00:00 GMT
    6. server:
      Google Frontend
    7. status:
      404 Not Found
    8. version:
      HTTP/1.1

Chris,

You sir, are mistaken.

The survey appeared on each and every page, blocking important information.

Thank you for rolling back to the previous version of the console.

Agreed, please roll back immediately, this appears on every page regardless of which option I select.

Also, it was stated that this was an "Optional Survey" - clearly it is not, even if there wasn't a mistake in the code causing it to always appear, there's no "I don't want to answer this, go away" option.

It seems that I was a bit hasty in my response.  We're rolling this back and apologize for the inconvenience.  I'll follow-up here once the rollback is complete.

This change has been rolled back.  If you're still seeing the satisfaction survey, please email me directly at cram...@google.com.
